Our first road trip of 2026-the LoonR Rover left Desert Hot Springs CA on January 1st. Our destination was Katy TX – a pet sit, which started on January 6th. We had some interesting stops along the way including a Harvest Host stop at Shakespeare Ghost Town. We had a fascinating tour of the buildings and the history. Our next stop was at Balmorhea State Park in west Texas. It has a lovely swimming area, which we would love to enjoy in the future, if the temperatures permit!
